Hilary Duff: "Who Am I to Judge Miley Cyrus?"

Hilary Duff insists she's not passing judgment on Miley Cyrus for the provocative photos she did for Vanity Fair. In a press event for the new movie War Inc. she said:

"Everyone goes through things and takes their own path. Who am I to judge decisions that she made?"

Even though Hilary claimed she would not have chosen the same path for herself, she said:

"People are pushing you to do something, and if you want to do it, that's your choice, you know? It's not what I would choose to do, but if she did then that's fine. That's her choice."

Hilary has somehow avoided trouble that many young celebs get into and explained:

"I've had a lot of help from people. It's a joint effort with my family and everyone helping me balance my life."

As mentioned before, Miley looks up to Hilary and also said she was embarrassed by the controversial photos. While the photos really weren't that bad because she wasn't really topless or nude as some reports have suggested, photos of an underage girl appearing almost nude is inappropriate and isn't exactly what many parents want to see their kids doing. The photos don't seem to follow the standard Disney seems to have for their family-friendly TV shows and movies.

Hilary Duff for 90210 Remake?

Producers for the CW’s Beverly Hills 90210 remake have reportedly offered Hilary Duff a starring role in the series, according to E! Online.

Hilary is being considered for the character of Annie Mills, a Beverly Hills High student who is into theater acting, just like her predecessor. It's unclear whether any official talks have started and if Hilary is even interested in the role.

However, Dustin Milligan from Runaway and AnnaLynne McCord from Nip/Tuck have already signed on to star in the remake.

Hilary Duff Has a Tough Time Making Friends in Hollywood

Hilary Duff has a tough life. It has been really difficult making friends in Hollywood because she believes everyone feels they're in competition with her. She told Allure magazine:

“It’s hard to find people who don’t feel like they’re in competition with you.”

She opened up about a feud she had with Avril Lavigne:

“I said something about how she didn’t like her fans dressing like her, and how she should appreciate that because it’s a compliment. [But in return] she called me a goody-goody. Everyone is trying to prove who they are, and their position. So, I’m ‘the good girl’. She’s ‘the bad girl’ or ‘the party girl.’ Sarah Jessica Parker doesn’t take her clothes off, but she’s not a ‘good girl.’ [Adult actors] don’t get tagged like we do.”

The former Lizzie Maguire star also spoke about her troubled relationship with Lindsay Lohan when they were kids:

“Supposedly, I stole Lindsay Lohan’s boyfriend [Aaron Carter]. We were, like, 13! And I’ve never stolen anyone’s boyfriend! I don’t know how you do that! She was talking about it and I wasn’t. It made us both look bad and put up a big weirdness. Really she was just a girl my age. We are fine now, by the way.”

Poor thing! Everyone's got the wrong idea about her and they're also very jealous. No one could ever compete with her either.

Hilary Duff Promotes New Perfume

Hilary Duff, like almost every other celeb these days has a perfume out. The ad campaign for her new perfume "Wrapped with Love" wants you to "choose love" and buy this crap? I just don't get it. It's not even the best photo of her - couldn't they have done a better job with that at least?

All of these new perfumes make me sneeze. Well, it doesn't help that I have bad allergies, but they're also polluting the air with this sh*t! I don't understand why so many celebs want their name on a scent. Does anyone really go out and buy it when there are so many perfumes and colognes already out that probably smell even better?

Hilary Duff Loves Her Body Now

Hilary Duff doesn't stress about her body image as much as she used to. She says:

“There definitely was a time, about a year and a half ago, when I was pretty obsessed with my body and my weight. But I’m better not stressing about my body all the time. It’s not attractive when girls get superskinny. Guys don’t like it. Girls don’t like you as much. You lose some happiness when that’s all you think about.”

Whether or not she feels she was less popular trying to be super skinny, it's healthier not to obsess about the weight. Little girls look up to Hilary so it's great that she's saying she is sending out the message that it's not attractive to get so thin and it's true, it really isn't.
