Katherine Heigl May Experience Emmy Revenge on Grey's Anatomy

Rumors are swirling that all is not well on the set of the hit TV series Grey's Anatomy. Folks are said to be pissed at Katherine Heigl's snub as she felt her role wasn't worthy of an Emmy so she didn't want to put her name forward.

According to L.A. Times, Marc Malkin of E! Online reported

"Latest buzz hissing from the set of the ABC hit is that creator Shonda Rhimes may be entertaining the idea of killing off Katherine Heigl's Dr. Isobel 'Izzie' Stevens because of the now infamous remarks Heigl made about the upcoming Emmys. 'It's not good there,' a source tells me of the 'Grey's Anatomy' set. Shonda is pissed. They're thinking of killing her off. They want Izzie dead.'"

However, a network source told the L.A. Times that rumor isn't true. Heigl is still under contract and will be back next season.

They should punish her by keeping her on the show and make her character the most hated. Maybe they should have her get drunk and sleep with McDreamy just as Meredith and McDreamy are supposed to move into their dream home.

Grey's Anatomy Season Finale Predictable Yet Still Great

Warning - Spoiler Alert if you're watching it over on the West Coast...

Even though the finale was predictable, it was still wonderful to watch. I love this show!

It looks like Meredith is getting her McDreamy back! I think what's so appealing about them as a couple is that he's SO much better looking and he still wants her. She doesn't think she deserves him (and she really doesn't), but he loves her anyway.

I knew that Dr. Torres and Dr. Hahn were going to hookup! Dr. Torres seemed tormented by her attraction to Dr. Hahn.

I don't think they should've had the chief's wife take him back. He is still working way more than she wants him to so they're just getting back only to break up next season.

Back to McDreamy...

Patrick Dempsey was looking pretty McYummy for the Made of Honor photocall at the Hotel St. Regis Grand in Rome, Italy today. I hope he doesn't end up leaving Grey's to do movies - he's awesome for the show.

Isaiah Washington Enraged Over Grey's Use of His Picture

Isaiah Washington is reportedly pissed that Grey's Anatomy used him in their latest episode after being fired last year. The controversial Hollywood actor didn't get a renewed contract after he was exposed for use of homophobic slurs towards co-star T.R. Knight.

He was shocked when he saw his face featured in a promotion aired on the network which showed his picture as Dr. Preston Burke in a newspaper article for which the doctor had received a prestigious medical award.

Washington's rep told TMZ:

"Isaiah has no plans to go back to Grey's Anatomy ... That being said, we were more than a little surprised that ABC used his likeness in a promo for the show, and indeed advanced his character's storyline. Mr. Washington's attorney has contacted the Screen Actors Guild and ABC as to the appropriateness of that action."

I was shocked to see his photo being used as well, but it was a good storyline. I'm sure he's wanting some cash for use of the picture though.

Katherine Heigl Plans on Leaving Grey's Anatomy?

Katherine Heigl is reportedly contemplating a move from Grey's Anatomy. Apparently, she's getting tired of it. A source told UsWeekly (via MSNBC):

"She's working really long hours and is ready to move on."

So although she's currently locked in a contract, she's allegedly trying to find a way out. I guess she wants to move onto her big movie career.

Uh-oh, you know how that worked out so well with Jennifer Aniston.

I actually like her as Izzie and I don't really see her as a big movie star so she better think long and hard about this one.

Patrick Dempsey Gets Revved Up for Parade

Patrick Dempsey graces the cover of Parade magazine with his dreamy good looks. In his interview, he opens up about dropping out of high school and his pec envy he feels when he looks at his Grey’s Anatomy co-star Eric Dane. So McDreamy wishes he had McSteamy's body? Here are the highlights from the interview:

On being jealous of the bigger and buffer types in Hollywood:

“I’m not Eric Dane. McSteamy is in perfect shape. I definitely have pec envy. There’s a lot of pressure being a man in this town.”

On his 1-year-old twin boys, Darby and Sullivan:

“It’s like a slapstick routine watching these drunk little men run around because they’re wobbly. (chuckles) When you see something happen that they couldn’t do the day before, it’s really heartwarming.”

On missing the chaos of family life when he’s away:

“I was in the gilded cages of all these great hotels, and I just couldn’t figure out why I was so depressed. It was too quiet. I’m used to the noise and the laughter and even the crying.”

On celebrity getting to his head:

“It gets very heady, fame. You’ve got to be very careful. I think I’ve been managing that well. This is a great opportunity now to really define the next part of my life. I just want to do it right.”

On dropping out of high school and moving to L.A. for acting.

“I was dyslexic, so I never had the skills for school. By listening to books on tape, going to lectures or watching documentaries and finding out how I needed to learn, that’s when my education began. I had a hunger for learning and was constantly seeking to improve myself.”

Ellen Pompeo Reveals How She Got Away with Breaking the Law

Ellen Pompeo revealed an interesting job she had at age 15 on the Late Show with David Letterman. Ellen sold "special slush" with vodka at Fenway Park, the home ballpark of the Boston Red Sox baseball team.

On how she sold her product:

“I used to stand around saying, ‘I got the special slush over here. Special slush!’ I’d [usually] give them one pump but if they gave me a few extra bucks, I’d give them two pumps.”

On not feeling guilty about selling alcohol:

“Listen, I just gave them what they want. I had the longest line. There must have been 12 slush carts on the street. No one else had a line. I was the only one!”

On the possibility of being arrested:

“I could have been in prison but all of the cops that were standing around didn’t seem to mind. They clearly knew what was going on. I was giving them slush too! You know those Boston police. Have you seen The Departed?”

I would've lined up for that special slush too. That's too funny that the Boston cops didn't care she was breaking the law. You can check out the video below.

Katherine Heigl Was Shocked to Find Out T.R. Knight Was Gay

Katherine Heigl was reportedly shocked when she found out that T.R. Knight was gay because she had spent time during the show's pilot flirting with him. She said:

"When we were filming the pilot I was single and so was he and I kind of had my eye on him. I was getting nowhere and I was super-confused. I was like, 'Hello? Do I have something hanging out of my nose? Why aren't you paying any attention to me? Needless to say, it quickly became a friendship once he told me."

I don't blame her for flirting with T.R. Knight - he's cute! I'm sure a lot of women out there can relate to flirting with guys who just aren't interested though. At least she made a good friend out of it too.

Katherine Heigl Swears She's Not the Next Julia Roberts

Katherine Heigl says that the critics who've been calling her the next Julia Roberts are wrong and insists the comparison is "insulting" to Julia. Katherine's latest films have been well-received which is why people have been comparing her to the Pretty Woman star. She said:

"I can't help but feel that's (the comparison) is a little insulting to Julia Roberts. There's not another woman who I look at and think, 'That's it, that's whose career I want to have.' "I'm just me and trying to do the best I can in every decision in any given moment".

I also think it's unfair for people to start calling her the next Julia Roberts. She hasn't made enough movies yet and that's a lot of pressure. I'm sure she has got to be flattered by even mentioning their names in the same sentence though.

Katherine is also denying rumors that she is planning to quit Grey's Anatomy. Good, because I love Izzy's character. I can't wait for Grey's to be back on!

Eric Dane Reveals Battle with Skin Cancer

Eric Dane aka McSteamy from Grey's Anatomy realized when he looked in the mirror that something was wrong early into the new year. He thought he had chapped lips, but it clearly wasn't so he went to the dermatologist. He told OK!:

“I went to my dermatologist. He said it was malignant tissue caused by sun damage."

He was treated by having the malignant (cancerous tissue) area frozen off with liquid nitrogen. Ouch! He also had a severe reaction to the cream for his lip and explained:

“My skin is very sensitive, and my lip was traumatized by the procedure I had to go through.”

Dr. Micki Ly, a dermatologist from Hawaii stated:

“Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. More than a million cases are diagnosed annually. But Eric was extremely wise to act quickly in dealing with it. The mouth is a bad area for a malignancy because they spread faster in mucosal areas, of which the mouth is one.”

It's great Eric revealed his story because it can serve as a wakeup call to many others to get looked at by a doctor if something on the body is looking different or suspicious.

I hope he's recovering well. How scary though!

UPDATE: Eric Dane, through his rep is denying the claim by OK! magazine that he is battling skin cancer, insisting the report is grossly exaggerated.

Justin Chambers Treated at Psych Ward

Justin Chambers who stars in Grey's Anatomy was reportedly treated at a psychiatric ward at UCLA earlier this week because of a sleeping disorder. His rep told TMZ that he "was exhausted and suffers from a sleeping disorder".

Chambers checked himself into the hospital "voluntarily to get some help" and checked himself out after being treated. Reports indicate that he was treated at the same place where Britney Spears is being treated.

It's great that he voluntarily went in for some help. Heath Ledger was said to have suffered from a sleeping disorder as well.

Grey's Anatomy's McSteamy aka Eric Dane is in the new issue of Flaunt magazine flaunting his hot body. Drew Tewksbury wrote about McSteamy's workout and called the article "Getting Big with Eric Dane". I can imagine why Drew might've gotten big around McSteamy without working out though. Yikes!

His wife Rebecca Gayheart knows just how big McSteamy actually is as she grabbed a handful in the photo here in July.

McDreamy is New Face of Versace

Patrick Dempsey was reportedly named as the new face of Versace, according to Access Hollywood. I guess he's becoming a McModel now!

The Grey's Anatomy hottie was already photographed for the ad campaign in November by Mario Testino. McDreamy said:

“I was thrilled to be asked to be the face of the Versace Men’s campaign. It was so lovely to work with Donatella Versace, she is an iconic and inspirational woman and a wonderful person, not to mention what a pleasure it was to work with Mario Testino too, one of the world’s finest photographers.”

Donatella Versace had a lot of praise for McDreamy as well:

“Patrick represents everything that is great about this collection - he has that confidence, he is completely comfortable in his own skin, which is so attractive. He is the modern man of today and of course looks fantastic in the clothes.”

McDreamy Suffered from Depression?

Patric Dempsey aka McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy reportedly suffered a bit of depression on the set of his new movie Enchanted because he felt out of his depth making a semi-animated movie. It was a struggle for him to act alongside imaginary creatures and causing him to doubt himself as an actor. He revealed:

"It was a real challenge. There's a scene where birds are coming in, and I'm reacting: `Was it big enough or is it too big?' "I'd go home and be completely depressed because I was like, `Am I making this movie work?' It was like, `Please just let me go back to Grey's Anatomy.'"

He belongs at Grey's Anatomy anyway so I'm glad he felt comfort in the idea of going back to the show. He's so yummy to look at eh? More hot photos of McDreamy can be found here.

Ellen Pompeo Secretly Got Hitched

Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery have reportedly tied the knot on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at New York's City Hall, where Mayor Michael Bloomberg served as their witness. Congrats to the happy couple who are "over the moon" as quoted by the Boston Globe.

I'm more curious if she'll end up marrying McDreamy on Grey's Anatomy though. I hope it won't be as quiet if they do.
