California Overturns Gay Marriage Ban

I love California! The California Supreme Court reportedly overturned a ban on gay marriage in a historic ruling on Thursday, effectively leaving same-sex couples in America's most populous state free to tie the knot. YAY!

California Chief Justice Ron George said:

"Limiting the designation of marriage to a union 'between a man and a woman' is unconstitutional and must be stricken from the statute."

The panel made up of seven members voted 4-3 in favor of marriage as a "basic civil right" regardless of sexual orientation. Let's hope that other states will soon follow.

Before Thursday, Massachussetts was the only state in the U.S. to allow gay marriage, with California, New Jersey, and Vermont allowing same-sex partner civil unions which provides partners many of the same legal rights as married folks.

This is time to rejoice and do a happy dance! I'm actually going to be in San Francisco over the weekend so I will have a few drinks to celebrate the awesome news.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Tops Sexiest Governor List

Arnold Schwarzenegger has reportedly made it to the top of the list of governors who strippers would most like to date.

Not surprisingly, the former Hollywood actor beat out the Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush and Michigan's Jennifer Granholm on the Playboy Radio poll. Former Governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer, ended up at the bottom of the list.

What a weird list - how do you pick from a list like that? Ew.

Sheryl Lowe Refutes Nanny, Laura Boyce Claims

Rob Lowe's wife, Sheryl Lowe reportedly lashed back on Thursday at Laura Boyce's allegations that she used the N-word, exposed herself inappropriately and inquired about the size of an ex-NBA player's private parts, according to the NY Daily News. The former West Wing actor's wife insisted:

"I find it deeply offensive, the false allegation that I would use racially insensitive comments. We do not see color in my household."

As mentioned before, Boyce is the second nanny to sue the actor's family for sexual harassment. The first nanny, Jessica Gibson claimed Lowe stuck his hand down her pants, grabbed her booty and exposed himself to her. It's said there is a third employee who is being sued by the Lowes and he has yet to file a countersuit.

Boyce's attorney, Gloria Allred slammed the Lowes and read a statement for Boyce:

"I feel betrayed and hurt and extremely upset that they would sue me after I endured what I did in their household."

In Boyce's lawsuit, she claims Sheryl Lowe once asked how she was able to have sex with her 7-foot-tall ex-NBA boyfriend, making comments such as:

"You're so little, and he's so big."

I'm always suspicious of people who say they don't see color to argue that they're not racist. I guess Sheryl's not denying the claims that she walks around the house naked exposing herself to the staff. Perhaps she thinks she's doing the staff a favor by letting them see her naked body?

Roger Clemens Linked to John Daly's Ex-wife, Paulette Dean Daly

Roger Clemens is having a tough time maintaining his former clean image as the hits seem to just keep going in his direction. Several sources revealed to the New York Daily News on Wednesday that Clemens had an affair with Paulette Dean Daly, former wife of PGA golfer John Daly. The sources for the Daily News allege that Clemens, a married father of four, arranged trips to Anaheim Stadim for Daly to watch him pitch for the Yankees against the Angels. It's also suggested that he spent time with her in Palm Springs.

Yesterday, Daly said:

"Yeah, I've known Roger quite a while and we are friends."

While Daly didn't elaborate on their relationship, she also didn't deny any allegations of a romantic relationship which included financial support.

Daly only said:

"You know what, I'm really uncomfortable talking about this. I'm just going to have to say, 'No comment.' I know Roger. I consider him a good friend. That's all I'm comfortable saying."

Unfortunately for Clemens, his flawed past is coming to light, which legal experts suggest is inevitable for anyone pursuing a defamation case because a successful injury claim depends on an undamaged reputation.

Ouch. It must suck to be Roger Clemens right now. He and Rob Lowe should go out for a drink and commiserate with one another.

Rob Lowe Faces Harrassment Claim from Second Nanny

Another nanny for Rob Lowe reportedly filed a countersuit Wednesday in a Los Angeles court, accusing Rob Lowe's wife, Sheryl Loweof sexual harassment, according to People.

Laura Boyce worked for the Lowe family for seven months in 2007 and now claims Sheryl created an:

"extremely sexually offensive and hostile work environment ... behaving in a ... perverted, disgusting and crude manner."

Boyce also alleges that Sheryl referred to Boyce's boyfriend, an NBA player using the "n" word. Allegedly, Sheryl "walked around naked, completely exposing herself" to Boyce, inquiring about her boyfriend's private parts and openly discussed Sheryl's sex life with Rob. Boyce claims wrongful termination against both Rob and Sheryl, in addition to unpaid wages and other labor code violations.

Attorney for the Lowes, Larry Stein, claimed the lawsuit:

"seeks to drag (Lowe's) wife and children into the fray" with "false allegations."

Boyce's lawyer, Gloria Allred said:

"The lawsuit speaks for itself."

Apparently, Rob and Sheryl preemptively filed lawsuits against Boyce and two other former employees on April 7, claiming they're the victims of an extortion scheme, let by Jessica Gibson, their former nanny. The third employee, Peter Clements, the Lowes' former private chef, has yet to file a legal response.

Yikes! It looks like Rob and his wife are in some deep sh*t with their former staff. Now that three former employees have had issue, it's appearing like the Lowes are pretty difficult people. Too bad - I take back what I said about how I wouldn't mind working for Rob now.

Jimmy Hendrix Sex Tape to Be Released

Jimmy Hendrix reportedly filmed himself having sex with two women according to Vivid Entertainment. The porn company maintains that the film which has no audio was filmed in a dimly-lit room, according to the Times.

In the past, Vivid has released sex tapes on many celebrities, including Pamela Anderson, Tommy Lee and Kim Kardashian, and insists that the tape is real and will be offering it for sale in stores as well as on download, the Times has revealed. Steven Hirsch, Vivid's co-chairman told the Times:

“I believe that we did our due diligence, and as a result of that clearly believe that it’s him. If they said that it wasn’t him, I would never have put it out.”

However, one of Hendrix' former girlfriends, Kathy Etchingham said it can't be him.

“He would never have allowed anyone to see that. In private he was very shy and would cover up.”

I doubt it was him too, but Vivid will probably make quite a bit of cash from curious people! In a way, it's a brilliant idea to make money quickly.

I'm still wondering if/when the Marilyn Monroe sex tape will get out in the public.

Richard Fagan Arrested for Killing Cheri Oteri's Father

Singer/songwriter Richard Fagan has reportedly been arrested and charged with the fatal stabbing of comedienne Cheri Oteri's father in Nashville, Tennessee. Fagan now faces homicide charges after allegedly murdering Gaetano Thomas Oteri on Saturday, April 26, 2008.

Apparently, the two men had been roommates as well as longtime business partners. In a bizarre admission, after Fagan was arrested for DUI, he revealed that he fought with Oteri and used his pocket knife to stab Oteri across the body before fleeing the scene. Oteri's body was found on Sunday afternoon.

How awful! What could they have been fighting about that would cause him to kill his longtime friend?

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to Cheri Oteri and family during this sad time.

Jerry Springer Speech Has Outraged Students

Northwestern Law School students are outraged because Jerry Springer has been chosen as their commencement speaker. Above the Law, a popular blog among law students and lawyers reported:

"There is a current uproar in the graduating class. The graduation committee thought Jerry would be the appropriate speaker for this year's convocation. Most of the student body is opposed to this, but the administration is sticking by the committee's decision."

David Van Zandt, the school's dean, defended the choice:

"Mr. Springer is an alumnus who has held public office as a city council member and mayor of Cincinnati. We look forward to his participation."

Apparently, some class members have been venting on the blog. One comment read:

"Opponents should chant 'You suck!' when he is introduced."

Another suggested chanting:

"Jerry! Jerry!"

Another wrote:

"Wow, the fact that people are defending this schmuck as a speaker makes me want to cry. Jerry Springer: prime example of the degradation of the human race for money."

One fan joked:

"This could make the best graduation ever. Better still if two hotties (preferably lesbian) rip each other's robes off."

I guess they're not impressed with Springer's talk-show or that he was forced to resign from the Cincinnati City Council after paying for sex with a personal check in 1974.

It sounds like it'll be a hoot though! Jerry could bust out some dance moves that he learned on Dancing with the Stars or he could always bring out his show's body guards and let people who were having affairs go at each other.

Danica Patrick Makes History as First Woman to Win IndyCar Race

Danica Patrick has become the first female winner in IndyCar history Sunday, in the Indy Japan 300, according to the Associated Press.

Amazingly, Patrick finished 5.8594 seconds ahead of pole-sitter Helio Castroneves on the 1.5-mile Twin Ring Motegi oval after the leader Scott Dixon was forced to pit for fuel with five laps left and Dan Wheldon and Tony Kanaan came in a lap later. Patrick said:

"It's a long time coming. Finally. It was a fuel strategy race, but my team called it perfectly for me. I knew I was on the same strategy as Helio and when I passed him for the lead, I couldn't believe it. This is fabulous."

Patrick took the lead from Castroneves on the 198th lap in the 200-lap race. Michael Andretti, co-owner of Andretti Green Racing said:

"I think Danica is such a fantastic person and I'm thrilled for her that the monkey is finally off of her back. We have all believed in her and she proved today that she is a winner. Frankly, I think this is the first of many."

Wow, what an amazing win for Danica Patrick!

At least Helio's still holding a champion title with Dancing with the Stars.

Melvin Blevins and Angel Dailey Videotaped Forcing Toddler to Smoke Pot

A camcorder which was sold at a pawn shop in Ohio showed a video of a toddler being given marijuana.

Pataskala, Ohio police arrested 18-year-old, Melvin Blevins and 16-year-old girl, Angel Dailey accusing them of forcing the 2-year-old to smoke marijuana when they held up pipe to the child's mouth. They've both been charged for corrupting or endangering a child. However, earlier this month, Dailey pleaded not guilty to the charges. Blevins is already facing charges for a separate case for a drug bust that involved one ton of marijuana.

Police said Dailey was holding the toddler, who can be seen on the tape squirming to avoid the pipe. Apparently, a pawn shop dealer in Columbus, Ohio found the tape left inside the camcorder and notified police.

On the video, a voice can be heard saying:

"It is some good stuff,"

showing a hand giving the choking toddler water.

What a disgusting thing to do and how awful for that child. Poor thing! I can't imagine how angry the parents were when they found out their baby was forced to inhale marijuana. I hope the teenagers get more than a slap on the wrist for this abuse. This is going to make parents think twice about who they allow to care their children.

Charlton Heston's Business Manager Charged with Embezzlement

Charlton Heston's business manager has reportedly been charged with stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from him as well as from the TV producer Stephen J. Cannell. On Monday, Sharon Walker was arrested in California and charged with two counts of embezzlement, three counts of forgery and five counts of filing false tax returns. Allegedly, Walker ripped off Heston for $157,000 and over $567,000 from Cannell (creator of The A-Team, The Greatest American Hero, The Rockford Files, Wiseguy, 21 Jump Street, Silk Stalkings and The Commish).

A statement was released by the Los Angeles District Attorney's office which accused Walker of forging signatures to pay off her credit card debt. Walker faces up to 11 years in prison if convicted of all charges.

Wow, prison isn't the worst part for Walker. She's going to have Moses haunting her now and that's pretty scary! Yikes!

Marilyn Monroe Oral Sex Tape Sold for $1.5 Million

Marilyn Monroe's sex tape has reportedly been sold for $1.5 million. The 15-minute movie is said to show Marilyn performing oral sex and was bought by a New York businessman.

The short silent, black-and-white movie was found by Keya Morgan, a memorabilia collector who claims it looks like it was filmed in the 1950s. Apparently, the tape allegedly shows the actress on her knees in front of a man, but his face isn't shown. It was also reported that the FBI tried to identify the man in the film as President John F. Kennedy.

Morgan said:

“You see instantly that it’s Marilyn Monroe. She’s smiling, she’s very charming.”

However, Morgan added that the new owner has no intentions of making it public:
