Anne Heche is Broke as a Joke

Anne Heche recently appeared in court recently claiming that she didn't have enough money to support her ex-husband and pay child support.

An L.A. County Superior Court judge has suspended Heche's obligation to pay child support for July. Heche has been forking over $14,798 in monthly support. In her declaration, Heche noted that her TV show, "Men In Trees," had gotten the ax. She says since January, "I have been unemployed and had no income....except for one very short term contract for a movie role for which I received a total of $65,000." Heche says she has a grand total of $34,840.93 in her accounts. She claims she can't continue paying for Homer's private school tuition, her Canadian mortgage, L.A. rent, auto and other expenses. She says she's $364,000 in the hole.

Anne can now join the rest of America, who are thousands of dollars in debt! Doesn't she talk to ghosts or aliens or something? Maybe they can float her a loan!

Remy Ma Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison

Remy Ma has reportedly been sentenced to eight years in the slammer for shooting her friend outside of a New York nightclub in 2007. Ma's real name, Reminisce Smith, has been convicted of assault, weapons possession and attempted coercion for shooting her friend Makeda Barnes Joseph in the abdomen.

Remy was said to have been in tears while her sentence was being read at a New York courthouse on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Her attorneys insist that the shooting was an accident and are planning to file an appeal.

It sucks to be her right now, but at least she can look on the bright side and realize she could've been sentenced to 25 years, but only received 8.

Remy's also probably bummed because her wedding to Papoose has been called off after he tried to break her out of jail. Reports claim that he tried to smuggle in a handcuff key to free his bride-to-be and now is banned from visiting her for six months. Aw, poor guy!

Uma Thurman is Suing Lancome

Uma Thurman and Lancome used to be on good terms with each other. Not the case anymore, as Uma is suing Lancome for using her photograph well after her contract expired.

While Uma is asking for $1 million for unauthorized use of her image, Lancome insists they never “knowingly or intentionally” used images of her without her consent.

Uma's attorney had this to say:

“Look at the huge free benefit Lancôme gets from using her. The French want to accept that benefit without paying for it. Obviously, the French have decided they won’t even try to resolve this amicably. So they have filed this sneak attack.”

Catty! Sounds like this could get ugly!

Nick Hogan Goes To Jail!

Nick Hogan (Nick Bollea) was in court today, facing charges for reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. He plead either not guilty or no contest to the felony charge.

His friend John Graziano who was him at the time of accident is still in critical condition and is likely to stay in nursing home for the rest of his life.

The judge sentenced him for 8 months in Pinellas County Jail. He told him that no matter how sorry he is, he must know that there are consequences for such actions and that his time in jail will pass and he will look back at it years from now. But that cannot be said about his friend John Graziano.

The judge also revoked his driver license for three years, sentenced him for five years probation and 100 hours of community service per year.

Beside that, Linda and Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) are facing a lawsuit filed by John Graziano's family.

It's nice to see that despite the fact that he has a famous father, he is still getting what he deserves.

Uma Thurman's Stalker Found Guilty

Uma Thurman's stalker, Jack Jordan, has been found guilty of fourth-degree stalking and one count of second degree aggravated harassment by a jury in Manhattan today.

The stalking charge can carry up to a 90-day jail term, and the aggravated harassment can mean up to a year behind bars for Jordan. Jordan was cuffed in the courtroom and remanded to custody. One woman juror told us that she felt "sorry" for him but that he "stepped over the line" when he invaded her private space at home -- and scared the kids. He was found not guilty on two other aggravated harassment charges.

Jordan is super-creepy! He even thought that he and Uma were a real-life couple and she was just playing "hard to get"! I guess now that he's facing time behind bars she'll be even harder to get!

Scott Weiland To Go to Jail for Eight Days

Scott Weiland, lead singer for the Stone Temple Pilots, was reportedly sentenced to eight days in jail on Monday for a DUI on November 21 which was confirmed by a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office. Weiland pleaded no contest which is equivalent to a guilty plea in California to driving under the influence of alcohol, which is his second DUI conviction in nearly four years.

It's unclear how Weiland's sentencing might affect his reunion tour with Stone Temple Pilots, who played their first show together in nearly eight years earlier this month. The band is scheduled to begin a 65-date series of concerts in North America on May 17.

Oh well, perhaps some dates are going to have to be rescheduled. Sucks to be him, but it sounds like he needs to get a handle on his drinking problem.

I'm guessing that he probably hasn't made up with Slash yet after being dumped from Velvet Revolver.

Ashley Alexandra Dupre Sues Joe Francis for $10 Million

The famous prostitute, Ashley Alexandra Dupre, who was at the center of the former Governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer's sex scandal has reportedly sued Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis, according to ET Online.

Attorneys for Dupré released a statement that alleges:

"In March 2003, Ms. Dupré was on vacation in Miami Beach during her spring break. She was approached by agents and... offered alcoholic drinks. Once intoxicated, she was induced into exposing her breasts while being filmed and told to sign a 'release' form. At the time of these encounters, Dupré was 17 years old and therefore not legally competent to enter into a contract with the defendants."
The lawyers also claim:
"Defendants have sought to exploit Ms. Dupré's image and likeness for their own financial gain... "
The lawyers insist:
"At no time did Ms. Dupré give legal consent to Defendants..."

In response to the lawsuit, Francis issued a statement today saying:
"We were very surprised and in fact amazed today that Ms. Dupré filed a lawsuit against Girls Gone Wild. We have not publicly released any new video of Ms. Dupré..."
He adds:
"She's seeking $10 Million for topless photos taken in front of a room full of people, including two newspapers and multiple crews we had in the room. These images were taken in public places and contain no sexual contact. We expect to triumph in this matter and continue to offer the best and hottest girls."

It looks like Ashley's after more than the $1 million Girls Gone Wild had offered her though. It'll be interesting to see how much she receives in a settlement. She could end up being the richest prostitute in the end eh?

Joe Francis is a douche though - notice how he takes the opportunity to further promote his company?

Michael Douglas Sued By Former Co-Star

Michael Douglas was reportedly sued by his former business partner and co-star in the 1984 film Romancing the Stone, Zack Norman. The lawsuit was filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court on April 24, 2008 by claiming the Oscar-winning actor breached his contract.

Norman insists that he was promised $1 million for buying into a company that helped develop projects with Douglas, however, he never received any money. Norman now wants Douglas to pay up.

Ouch! Well, I guess it's easy to forget people on the way up in the business. It's not surprising to hear he's being sued as it isn't the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Wesley Snipes Gets Sentenced for Three Years

Wesley Snipes has reportedly been sentenced to three years in prison for tax evasion. The judge ruled that he could surrender at a later date rather than immediately. Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department's Tax Division, Nathan J. Hochman said:
"Snipes' long prison sentence should send a loud and crystal clear message to all tax defiers that if they engage in similar tax defier conduct, they face joining him and his co-defendants ... as inmates in prison."

Snipes received a conviction in February on three misdemeanor charges for not filing his taxes. Although the government claimed he owed $2.7 million, attorneys for Snipes argued it was only $228,000. While no fine was imposed, the three-year sentence was the maximum sentence. Ouch!

Denzel Washington and Woody Harrelson reportedly wrote letters to support Snipes' defense to appeal for leniency.

Wow, it seems a little harsh to put someone away for prison for three years for failing to pay $228K. They should've required he pay a fine and serve some time as well, but 3 years - yikes! I guess they really wanted to make an example out of him eh?

Melvin Blevins and Angel Dailey Videotaped Forcing Toddler to Smoke Pot

A camcorder which was sold at a pawn shop in Ohio showed a video of a toddler being given marijuana.

Pataskala, Ohio police arrested 18-year-old, Melvin Blevins and 16-year-old girl, Angel Dailey accusing them of forcing the 2-year-old to smoke marijuana when they held up pipe to the child's mouth. They've both been charged for corrupting or endangering a child. However, earlier this month, Dailey pleaded not guilty to the charges. Blevins is already facing charges for a separate case for a drug bust that involved one ton of marijuana.

Police said Dailey was holding the toddler, who can be seen on the tape squirming to avoid the pipe. Apparently, a pawn shop dealer in Columbus, Ohio found the tape left inside the camcorder and notified police.

On the video, a voice can be heard saying:

"It is some good stuff,"

showing a hand giving the choking toddler water.

What a disgusting thing to do and how awful for that child. Poor thing! I can't imagine how angry the parents were when they found out their baby was forced to inhale marijuana. I hope the teenagers get more than a slap on the wrist for this abuse. This is going to make parents think twice about who they allow to care their children.

Jessica Gibson Claims Rob Lowe Put His Hand Down Her Pants

Rob Lowe's nanny Jessica Gibson claims he was sexually harassing her. In a law suit filed Monday, Gibson claims that he frequently exposed himself to her during the seven years she worked on and off for him and his wife, Sheryl. Gibson also claims that Lowe "placed his hand" inside her pants several times between September 2005 and January 2008, alleging he groped her ass without her consent.

Gibson even mentions that Rob's wife Sheryl would expose herself too by walking around the house naked as well as make explicit comments about their sex life in the 18-page document.

Below is the video clip of Gibson's appearance on this morning's Today show. Of course since this is a highly publicized lawsuit, she has Gloria Allred is defending her. Also notice how Gibson doesn't really say much and lets Allred do all of the talking and just sits there looking smug.

As mentioned last week, Lowe had went public to expose the lawsuit by writing about being blackmailed in the Huffington Post. Wow, this could be great stuff for an upcoming TV special.

Richie Sambora May Face Jail Time for DUI

Richie Sambora could be facing jail time if the police get their way. Sambora may get charged with misdemeanor DUI and child endangerment according to Contact Music. Apparently, prosecutors want to get tough with the Bon Jovi guitarist for driving under the influence while his daughter (as seen in the above photo during happier times) and her cousin were in the car last month.

Sambora's arraignment is set May 7, 2008.

It sucks to be him eh? He should never have been so irresponsible to drink and drive even if his daughter and her cousin weren't in the car. It just makes it so much worse that he risked their lives though. Heather Locklear must've wanted to kill him for endangering their daughter.

Is that it? These Hollywood kids have it so easy eh? They should've had him spend at least a few hours in jail.

Pete Doherty Incarcerated

Pete Doherty has reportedly been put in jail for 14 weeks for breaching the terms of his probation. Despite public promises in 2007 to get clean, he has continued to struggle with his addictions. Adrian Hunter, Doherty's manager claimed many reasons for being incarcerated on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, including being late for probation hearings.

His show at the Royal Albert Hall on Aril 26 has been postponed and he won't be able to appear at the Love Music Hate Racism benefit on April 27 now. According to WENN, it's unclear whether Doherty will be able to appear at the Glastonbury Festival.

Sucks to be Pete right now eh? Hopefully he'll find a way to get cleaned up soon.

Nickelback Singer Kroeger Convicted for DUI

Chad Kroeger, Nickelback's frontman, has reportedly been convicted of drinking and driving. He was arrested in British Columbia, Canada after police stopped him for speeding. Then police charged him with impared driving and having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.

Although Kroeger (real name Turton) pleaded not guilty and tried to have the charges dismissed as his lawyer claimed the officer involved conducted an unlawful search of Kroger's Ferrari after smelling alcohol on his breath, the judge threw out the request last month. Kroger will face a $600 fine and a one-year driving ban when he's sentenced on May 1st.

He's just lucky he's not facing jail time eh? He can also probably afford to have someone drive him around anyway so the year can go by quickly if he gets banned from driving.

T.I. Pleaded Guilty to Charges of Weapons Possession

Rapper T.I. has reportedly pleaded guilty to federal charges of weapons possession at a court hearing in Atlanta. T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was charged with possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers, as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon. He faced a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count.

Holy sh*t! Machine guns?? I guess small handguns just aren't tough enough!

TI was arrested last October just before his scheduled appearance at the BET Hip-Hop awards in Atlanta. Authorities claimed that T.I. provided his bodyguard $12,000 to buy the weapons, which he is not allowed to own because he is a convicted felon.

In a plea agreement the rapper admitted to possessing machine guns and silencers as well as the possession of machine guns and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

Now he faces a year in jail when he is sentenced next March, while he will be required to fulfill 1,000 hours of community service over the next 12 months talking to youth groups about the pitfalls of guns, gangs and drugs. T.I. has also been ordered to pay a $100,000 fine.

Attorney David Nahmias said:

"If Mr Harris performs as expected, his efforts and ability to reach and influence a large number of young people should prevent and deter at least some of them from committing crimes that endanger their communities and ruin their lives."

What is it with rappers and guns? I wonder what he's going to say to "deter" the youth who look up to him to avoid getting involved with guns, gangs, drugs. Don't get caught?

T.I. had initially denied the weapons possession charges and only fessed up after he faced up to ten years in prison.
