Eddie Murphy Insists He Was Tricked By Mel B

Poor Eddie Murphy believes he was tricked by Spice Girl Mel B which is why he is refusing to see his daughter. A source told the National Enquirer that they only had sex three times and that Scary Spice told Eddie she was using birth control. The source said:

“What was supposed to be a casual relationship ended with her having his baby and taking him to court for millions. He never thought things would end up like this.”

The source said that he would consider a relationship with his daughter in the future:

“He says he will have to wait until Angel is older before he can get to know her without any interference from her mother.”

However, Mel B claimed that Eddie was aware she had removed her IUD at the beginning of their relationship.

Even if it was unplanned, Eddie still has a responsibility to his little girl. If he had been so concerned about getting Mel B pregnant, he should have slipped on a condom for extra protection. And since he knows for a fact that Angel is his child, he should be man enough to deal with Mel B and get to know his baby. What a douche!

Eddie Murphy Only Had Sex Three Times with Mel B?

Eddie Murphy reportedly believes that Melanie Brown was trying to ruin him after he dumped her. A source close to Eddie claims that Mel B exaggerated their relationship. Eddie was allegedly shocked when she got pregnant because they only had sex three times and Melanie promised she was using a coil fitted contraceptive. Although Mel B says they had moved in together and she told friends she was going to marry Eddie, it was never a serious relationship in Eddie's eyes. The insider said:

“Mel might have been in love with Eddie but he was certainly NOT in love with her. Mel did NOT live at his house although she told people she did. And it wasn’t a passionate relationship. They slept together just three times. That’s why he was stunned when she announced she was pregnant after they split. He truly did not believe it was his child. As they only had sex a few times, and she’d PROMISED she had a contraceptive coil fitted, Eddie was certain it couldn’t be his.”

The source explained how crazy Scary Spice was after she met Eddie:

“Right from the moment she was introduced to Eddie she was infatuated and started to tell her friends she was going to marry him. It was clear Mel was desperate to be like Posh Spice and wanted a high profile catch like David Beckham. She wanted the fame and the fortune and more than anything she wanted a wealthy, A-list husband. Getting involved with Mel was the worst mistake Eddie ever made and he’ll regret it for the rest of his life. He’s eaten away by bitterness and is convinced she’s trying to ruin him. Mel said all the problems would go away if Eddie agreed to her demands for a $9million house in Malibu plus living expenses for 18 years.”

As far as a relationship with his daughter Angel:

“Of course he will pay to support Angel - at the moment it’s $15,000 a month - but he refuses to be part of her life right now because he doesn’t want anything to do with Mel. Things got so ugly between them Eddie even had his lawyer send her lawyer a letter accusing her of extortion - he thinks she’s been rubbishing his name in order to make him cave in to her outlandish financial demands.”

The source also claims that Mel B gave birth to Angel early on purpose just so she could share the same birthday with Eddie:

“Angel was due on April 15th but Eddie’s birthday is on April 3rd and he firmly believes she purposely made an appointment to have a premature Caesarean section so that she could give birth that day. He says Mel wanted to have another tie to him and this was her sick way of doing it. Now he says he’ll never again be able to enjoy his birthday as he’ll just be thinking of all the hurt she’s caused him. It’s all so sad because there’s an innocent little girl involved here but Eddie is adamant that the two of them mean nothing to him - and I can’t see a time when he’ll ever forgive Mel. Eddie says when Angel is old enough to start asking about her dad, then he’ll meet her. But only if that ever happens. He’s still so angry and I think he always will be.”

Based on Eddie's recent split from Tracey Edmonds, I would not be inclined to believe this source. Even if the claims are true, Eddie's still a jerk for not wanting to meet his baby. He could be a man and put his angry feelings aside just so his little girl could have her father in her life. No matter what, Mel B didn't get pregnant by herself and she could've gotten pregnant even if they only had sex once. Duh! If he wanted to make sure she didn't get pregnant, he should've used a condom (maybe the Beckham brand?).

Eddie Murphy Physically Intimidated Tracey Edmonds

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds reportedly split because Eddie's "controlling Jekyll and Hyde-like character". Although there were earlier reports alleging the couple split because Tracey refused to sign a prenup, an insider insists Tracey called things off when he became physically intimidating towards her. A source told the New York Post Page Six:

"That was kind of the last straw. She was happy to sign a prenup - she has her own money. She was very accommodating. But then it was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Eddie became very controlling and insisted on bringing his mother on their honeymoon. They got into a huge fight. He started screaming at her and grabbed her. She was scared."

Yikes! Although it's unclear if he actually did those things at their honeymoon, I believe he could be like a Jekyll. He didn't want to meet his baby with Mel B. and how could someone not want to meet their baby?

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds Split

That was quick! Only two weeks ago, Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds had a "spiritual ceremony" in Bora Bora and today they announced that they are breaking up. Here is Eddie Murphy's official statement:

"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further.

While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends."

Tracey probably dumped him after she found out that he wants nothing to do with his baby with Mel B, not even to meet her! How could someone not want to meet their child?

Eddie Murphy Doesn't Want to Meet His Baby?

Eddie Murphy reportedly refuses to meet his daughter with Mel B. Although he had denied he was the father of Angel Iris, DNA test results proved otherwise. Murphy's attorneys are supposed to be working out visitation rights, however, it had to be postponed because Murphy has so far declined to submit an offer. According to The Sun, a source indicated that Murphy told his legal team he has no interest in EVER meeting his daughter. The source said:

"Mel was furious. "She had been planning to take Angel to the courthouse to meet her dad for the first time."

What an ass! I really hope that Angel Iris doesn't grow up finding this out. How could someone not want to meet their child? I sure hope he'll have to pay out tons for child support for her!

Is Mel B Playing Nice with Eddie Murphy Now?

Melanie Brown appears to be playing nice with Eddie Murphy now as she told Jet magazine:

“I have nothing bad to say about him - the guy that he was when I was with him. He was nice. Really nice. Since I’ve left, I don’t know that person so I can’t comment on that.”

It looks like she might've been scared by his countersuit. She also insists she is "very happy" with her new husband Stephen Belanfonte.

“We’ve been through a very similar roller coaster with life, friends and experience. You know how someone makes themselves a better person every time you see them? That’s him. I have complete respect for someone that can take the best bits out of the crap bits and make it all blossom.”

She added:

“I can’t go a day without giving [him and daughters Phoenix Chi & Angel] lots of kisses. I terrorize them with kisses.”

I certainly hope she's happy. I look forward to seeing her on Dancing with the Stars which premieres tonight!

Mel B Got Married

Melanie Brown has secretly married Stephen Belafonte last month in Vegas.

Melanie's rep tells TMZ:

"The couple are very happy and very much in love. They have had a deep friendship for a number of years that has developed into a loving relationship."

Eddie Murphy's Exes Unite!

Melanie Brown, ex-girlfriend of Eddie Murphy, met up with Eddie Murphy's ex-wife and mother of five of his children, Nicole Murphy, for lunch yesterday. Melanie brought Angel Iris and Nicole brought her youngest child, Bella Zahra. So even though Eddie Murphy is yet to do the right thing by his daughter with Mel B., at least she seems to be receiving some sympathy and compassion from Eddie's ex-wife. It's cute that the sisters had a chance to see each other as well. Nicole is beautiful isn't she? I hope she and Mel B become BFFs!

Eddie Murphy Planned Pregnancy with Mel B?

Melanie Brown is reportedly insisting that her baby with Eddie Murphy was "completely planned" which has made it more painful for her to accept subsequent Eddie's behavior. She told Essence magazine:

“This was a completely planned pregnancy. This wasn’t some random, ‘Oops I fell over and I’m pregnant.’ I don’t live my life like that. I’m a responsible parent and have been a responsible single parent since I got divorced [in 1999]. As soon as I had my IUD removed we proceeded to get pregnant. It happened quicker than we expected but it was perfect timing.”

It was only around the time that Mel was approximately five months pregnant when Eddie questioned the paternity of the child and then announced the end of their relationship during a TV interview.

Mel added:

“I just didn’t believe it. When I saw it my heart dropped down to my gut. I laughed because that wasn’t the guy that I knew who told me he wanted to have a baby and get married.”

In the end, Mel was a little relieved things didn't work out though and said:

“There were certain things that went on in his house with his lifestyle that I wasn’t prepared to be a part of. I have a baby with this guy so I have to be somewhat respectful. I’ll simply say that there were lifestyle changes that he would have to make if we were going to live together and do it properly. I have a house where it’s about my kids and me. I don’t have people knocking on my door at 3 and 4 in the morning.”

However, as awful as his behavior has been, she'd like Eddie to take a more active role in raising their daughter:

“Every child deserves to know that they have a mum and a dad, otherwise there’s something missing psychologically. I’m not about to put my daughter through that. He is [involved] with all his other kids and he’s a great dad. Why should this beautiful baby be any different?”

Eddie should be thankful that Mel B is being so mature about the whole thing. Their baby is so adorable too! What a jerk he is. I wonder if he's going through a mid-life crisis!

People Magazine is reporting that the DNA test confirmed that Eddie Murphy is the father of Melanie Brown's 2-month-old daughter Angel Iris Murphy Brown.

Eddie, who hasn't even seen the baby yet, is not going to like these results. It's going to get ugly!!
