TMZ is reporting that at the taping of the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" yesterday, Ellen told the audience that since the California Supreme Court overturned the ban on gay marriage she is planning to marry her girlfriend Portia de Rossi

It's about time the ban over gay marriages was overturned! Congrats to Ellen and Portia!

A friend of Owen's had this to say:

"It was a pretty bad breakup. Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn't want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him."

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal Getting Hitched

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are reportedly close to getting engaged, according to OK! magazine.

Pals of the couple believe it won't be long before Jake proposes to Reese as they're deeply in love already. A source close to Reese dished to OK!:

"They've been talking marriage for a while. They'll be formally engaged any day now. They want to spend the rest of their lives together. This is a very serious relationship. But Reese is very conservative and traditional. I'm sure she doesn't want her kids to see her 'living in sin.'"

Aw, I guess we won't get to see Reese getting knocked up anytime soon like other Hollywood couples since she's so conservative.

While Reese's rep had no comment, Jake's rep insists there are no immediate plans for a wedding.

They do seem happy together so I wouldn't be too surprised if they get engaged sooner than later.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo Split Already?

It's rumored that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have split up, according to In Entertainment (via TMZ). One of Tony's pals dished:

“They’re broken up. He told us they broke up and that was that. We’re guys so we didn’t talk about it much.”

A source claimed that Jessica broke up with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback because he spent a wild weekend with his friends. However, their reps insist the rumors aren't true.

As mentioned before, Jessica Simpson wants to get hitched to the football star. With her lil sis Ashlee Simpson walking down the aisle soon with Pete Wentz, she's probably wanting to get married and have some kiddies more than ever now.

We'll have to wait and see if the rumor is true. If it is, I suppose he won't be attending Ashlee's Gremlin nuptials which are said to be on May 16. Jessica might've scared him off by calling him her future husband already and acting clingy.

Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are reportedly planning to get married, according to the Daily Mail.

After reuniting after a split for a little over seven months, the Hollywood couple is said to be planning a wedding next year.

Kate has been spotted wearing a big rock after Owen allegedly proposed to her in Miami.

While it's nice to see these two back together, she should look to her mother Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell as inspiration. They've been together forever and didn't need to get hitched. Apparently, Kate is "ecstatic" about the idea of getting hitched to Owen.

If the rumors are true, I guess congrats are in order so congrats to the happy couple.

Jennifer Aniston is Already in Love with John Mayer

Jennifer Aniston has just reportedly started dating John Mayer, but according to her friends, she's already in love with him! This weekend, Jen was in Miami and John was in New York City, and allegedly, Aniston just couldn't stand it. She kept texting and e-mailing him to come back to Miami.

Says a source: "She's really into John, and the nine year age difference doesn't bother her for a second. Jen's already telling friends she's falling in love with this guy. Jen's really hoping he can spend more time in Miami with her. She just wants to see a lot more of him. This was definitely not a one-off thing as far as she's concerned."

This is further perpetuating Jennifer's "I've become so desperate since Brad Pitt left me!" reputation. Hopefully this is all stuff that the tabloids have made up about her, because Jen is a beautiful, competent girl and could really get any man she wanted, and to picture her all alone with a shrine to some guy she just met is a really sad thought!

Jake Gyllenhaal is deeply "in love" with his Oscar winning actress/ girlfriend Reese Witherspoon, according to his pal, producer Ryan Kavanaugh. They've been dating since meeting on the set of Rendition. Kavanaugh believes Reese could be "the one" for him too. He told People:

"I just think he loves her. (Jake) has obviously had his fair share of dating. I think eventually you come to a place where you know what you want and seeing what we saw on the set, he was certainly completely devoted to her and really loves her."

Aw, how cute. They actually do make a nice couple, don't they?

Pete Wentz Defends Ashlee Simpson's Engagement Ring

In trying to prove he's a socially conscious rocker, Pete Wentz insisted that the ring he bought his fiancée Ashlee Simpson was not a blood diamond. Wentz told People:

"It is not a conflict diamond. It's something I care about," Wentz added. "I can't actually go [to Africa to pick it out] myself, but I trust [the jeweler]. He's a reputable person."

Their upcoming nuptials are said to be planned for May in California.

Aw, I feel so much better now knowing that Ashlee's not sporting a conflict diamond now. I just wish he had shared who the "reputable" jeweler is.

Kirsten Dunst and Ryan Gosling aren't hiding their relationship as they were spotted making out in NYC's The Box Club on Saturday. The Spider-Man actress and The Notebook actor met shortly after Kirsten's stay at the Utah Cirque Lodge rehab clinic last month, according to reports.

A source for Perez Hilton said:

"They were making out publicly. They didn't even try to hide it."

As mentioned before, the new couple were seen on a date at Freemans earlier this month.

The idea of them together is starting to grow on me. They might be a better match than they had in their previous relationships.

Earlier this week, Fall Out Boys bassist Pete Wentz proposed to his girlfriend Ashlee Simpson. A friend told In Touch magazine:

"He got down on one knee and she said yes. She has an amazing ring, and they are so in love."

Ashlee released the following statement:

"We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best.

Papa Joe must be upset because as reported a while ago, he wanted Ashlee to date other guys on a reality show. Well, he can always try and convince them to do a reality show after they get married. Or maybe a reality show about the wedding preparations.

Although, it was reported that Scarlett had moved into Ryan's home in L.A. without her mother's approval, her friends suggest that it's just a base for her while she travels and works on filming movies. One friend said:

"Scarlett hasn't moved in full-time. She has just moved in so when she stays over she has some belongings there. She is very much focused on her career and is filming three movies back-to-back this year."

Well, she's only 23 so it hardly sounds like she needs to rush into getting married and have babies right now unlike some teens we know of.

"We’re actually leaving in a couple days for South Africa, so I'll be with him."

She added:

"I'm just happy to be together, so no matter where we are, we'll have a great time."

When People asked whether or not Madden would consider collaborating with his new girlfriend, he said:

"I'd do anything she wanted. I'm a really easy guy to read. Everyone can tell I'm really happy. She's the most supportive [girlfriend], even as a friend, so supportive of everything I'm doing. And I try to be the same way for her."

Yuck! Both of them sound like they're under some spell. I bet he'll soon wake up if he has to listen to her sing.

Benji Madden Ditches Charity Event for Paris Hilton

Benji Madden is so in love with Paris Hilton that he reportedly gave up a charity DJ appearance to go clubbing with her. Apparently, he booked to appear as a DJ at Prive Las Vegas on Saturday, March 8, 2008 with a donation going to Joel Madden and Nicole Richie's Children's Foundation.

However, the deal was that he wasn't supposed to appear at any other nightclub 24 hours prior to the event, but that posed too difficult for him to refrain from being away from Paris. He told Perez Hilton:

"I feel awful, but I didn't know what to do. I'm crazy about this girl."

Aw, how sweet eh? NOT! How pathetic that he couldn't stay away from going to a club for 24 hours when he made a commitment to do so.

He certainly deserves Paris now doesn't he? I hope they get married soon.

Sophie Monk has decided to speak out about her breakup with Benji Madden and wishes him and Paris Hilton all the best. She told Australia's Herald Sun:

"Let me make this as plain as possible – Benji did not leave me for Paris Hilton. Benji and I did not break up badly or anything like that. We both decided, as adults, our relationship had run its course and decided to move on. I feel no animosity towards Benji and Paris at all and am very happy with life at the moment."

However, it must have surprised her that less than two weeks after she and Benji called off their engagement, he was spotted with Paris Hilton and she was seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger. It would've shocked anyone in her position. She's probably trying to stay classy rather than call them names in public.
