Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson's Gremlin Theme

Pete Wentz has joked we could see that his wedding to Ashlee Simpson could use the Gremlin's theme. Apparently, he told Female First that Gremlins 2 is one of his all-time favorite movies. He said:

"I think we're going to have our theme based around Gremlins 2! We could have it take place in a mall and there could be little green naked monsters running about! We could even have Gizmo as a guest!"

As mentioned before, their wedding is said to have been moved up to May 16, 2008 with Jessica Simpson announcing to People magazine that she will be their maid of honor.

If they don't end up using the Gremlin's theme for their wedding, they don't have to worry because they're probably going to be having a little Gremlin soon enough! Scary eh?

Papa Joe will probably get over his displeasure of the nuptials and be happy again once the pregnancy boobs start to show.

Papa George Bush must approve of Henry Hager as Henry worked for the 2004 Bush re-election campaign which is where he met Jenna.

Ashlee Simpson is Getting Married Next Week

Rumor has it that Ashlee Simpson and fiance Pete Wentz are planning on jumping the gun! The pair is allegedly scheduled to get married next weekend, at an undisclosed location outside of LA. The invitations have already been sent out for the weekend of May 16.

So, this totally makes her preggers, right? I'm less concerned about that though and more concerned about how Papa Joe is going to handle this. I can just see him insisting on being both the best man and walking Ashlee down the aisle, and then when it comes rehearsal time, he'll tell Pete to "just sit this one out," while he stands in as groom.

And PLEASE tell me they have enough good sense to not pose the "does anyone object" question!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon got hitched this week in the Bahamas, according to several media reports. The New York Post said that a source close to Mariah revealed the couple walked down the aisle in a secret ceremony in front of family and friends at Mariah's house in Eleuthera. Latina.com claimed a source close to Nick dished that their wedding was on Wednesday. In Touch Weekly said Nick designed a $2.5 million ring for Mariah.

Reps for Mariah and Nick have not confirmed any reports and have not returned emails or phone calls for comment yet.

So it looks like Mariah's getting her groove back on with Nick since he's 11 years her junior. Congrats to the happy couple! I wonder if she's rethinking her stance on kiddies.

Eli Manning married Abby McGrew on Saturday in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. The Giants quarterback got hitched to his college sweetheart during a beach front ceremony at sunset...how romantic!

According to the New York Daily News, about 60 guests flew to Mexico to witness the intimate 16-minute ceremony where the bride and groom exchanged their vows while standing on a platform in the sand as waves crashed over rocks behind them.

Beach weddings are so beautiful. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Ivana Trump got married for the fourth time yesterday. She married her boyfriend of six years Rossano Rubicondi. The two got married at Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach estate of her ex-husband Donald Trump.

Rossano Rubicondi is a 35 years old Italian model-actor. I bet the Donald is upset that Ivana beat him and married someone younger. As Rubicondi is 2 years younger than Donald Trump's wife, Melania.

Johnny Depp is Finally Getting Hitched

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis are reportedly getting married on June 14. Although, the couple have been together for over 10 years and have two kiddies, Lily Rose and Jack, Vanessa is now eager to walk down the aisle. A source told MSNBC:

"Johnny loves Vanessa very much, and he said if that’s what would make her happy, then he would marry her.”

Apparently, Johnny revealed in the past that he was reluctant to get married because he adores Vanessa’s surname. Johnny said:

“It would be a shame to ruin her last name! It's so perfect - Vanessa Paradis. So beautiful. It would be such a drag to stick her with Paradis-Depp. It's like a flat note! But if she ever said, 'Hey, let's get hitched', I would do it in a second”

Hint to Johnny: Vanessa can keep her surname, a lot of women do it these days!

Remy Ma Plans to Get Married in Prison

Remy Ma is reportedly planning to get hitched to her fiance rapper Papoose while in a New York jail.

Remy is waiting to be sentenced to go to Rikers Island prison for shooting her friend. She faces 25 years after she was found guilty for shooting a woman outside a club in July 2007.

Ivan Fisher, her attorney told Reuters:

"They're very committed to each other, and had intended to marry one way or another."

However, she'll have to be very selective of who she wants to be present at the nuptials as the couple will only be allowed two guests to attend. The prison actually performs 200 weddings a year. Who knew? I never thought about people getting married in prison. I guess planning for it could be a cool thing to do while in the slammer - to help pass the time. I'm not sure what the point is though if she gets locked up for 25 years and can't even live with her husband, but whatever floats their boats...

I wonder if they'll allow her to wear a wedding dress. Maybe the two invited will be a photographer and the other, her hair and makeup artist. Tough decisions eh?

Beyonce and Jay-Z Got Hitched!

Beyoncé Knowles reportedly married her longtime boyfriend, rapper Jay-Z, on Friday, according to a source for People magazine. Although there is no official confirmation, the friend of the couple said:

"It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family."

Their celebration after the ceremony was said to be a lavish party at Jay-Z's Tribeca apartment with Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friend Gwyneth Paltrow in attendance.

A source also told People that Amy's Orchids was hired to provide 50,000 to 60,000 white orchid blooms from Thailand for a "big party." And at the apartment, waiters were seen practicing their service. Sounds like they had quite the party too with DJ Cassidy, a favorite of Jay-Z, hired to spin for the big celebration.

It was about time anyway as they've been together for years now. Congrats to the happy couple.

Jamie Lynn Spears is reportedly planning to get married to her fiance Casey Aldridge at Britney Spears' Serenity estate in Louisiana. Jamie Lynn confirmed the reports by wearing a t-shirt saying:

'The Rumors Are True'

OK! magazine reported that they'll get hitched at her big sis' estate and Brit is expected to be a bridesmaid. However, a source said she's not planning to rush down the aisle:

"I expect she'll want to wait at least several months to get her figure back so she can wear a beautiful wedding gown and then have her dream wedding."

UPDATE: Us Weekly has reported that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are not getting married this weekend. Nick is in his hometown of Cincinnati working on his new NBC show Clash of the Choirs, as well as another show he is producing for MTV. Too bad.

Nick and Vanessa are said to be walking down the aisle in a secret ceremony at one of the Caryle Hotels in the Bahamas. A source revealed that Vanessa's entourage "arrived at the dazzling digs Friday afternoon."

I wonder if the lovebirds would consider doing a reality show as he did before with his ex-wife Jessica Simpson as they were in MTV's "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica."

Jessica Simpson was reportedly shocked and said she was stung when Nick started dating right after their breakup earlier this year. In the March issue of Elle magazine she said:

"Oh, it hurt me. Two or three weeks later? Yeah, I'd say it kind of hurt me."

Boohoo for Jessica eh? I'm sure Nick was pretty hurt too when she dumped his ass as well. All is well for her now that she's reportedly dating the Dallas Cowboy, Tony Romo, who is probably welcome for Christmas at the Simpson home. Too bad for Pete Wentz.

Congrats to Nick and Vanessa if they're really getting hitched. Maybe while they're honeymooning, they'll decide to go nude and have sex outside again.

Google Co-Founder Getting Hitched on Island

Larry Page, co-founder of Google is reportedly getting married this Saturday on a tiny Carribean island which is turning out to be a logistical nightmare for planners who have to fly in 600 guests on private planes and try to find luxury hotel rooms for all of the high profiled bigwigs. Larry Page, who is considered one of the most eligible bachelors in America, is getting hitched to his girlfriend Lucy Southworth on Richard Branson's private island getaway according to New York Post Page Six.

Apparently wedding planners have been working on arranging the details for six months because they had to book all of the hotels on the neighboring island of Virgin Gorda. So basically, according to an insider:

"They rented all of Virgin Gorda. They took over the island."

The source also revealed:

"boats and ferries for hundreds of guests were ordered to ship them from Little Dix Bay to the ceremony."

U2's lead singer, Bono, is said to be the most famous guest, however, guests also include fellow Forbes 400 billionaires, Silicon Valley visionaries and friends from Stanford, where Page and his Google partner, Sergey Brin, met in the computer science Ph.D. program.

It must be nice to have use of a private island and be able to afford whatever accommodations one can only imagine, but it does sound a bit over the top eh? I wonder if Page really wanted all of this hoopla for his special day.

According to People magazine, Superman Returns star Brandon Routh married his longtime girlfriend, actress Courtney Ford, on Saturday at the beautiful El Capitan Ranch in Santa Barbara.

Aw, how romantic eh? Santa Barbara is such a beautiful place for weddings.

Too bad they didn't choose to get hitched on Halloween and have him wear his cape and tights. That would have been more interesting. Well, congrats to the happy couple anyway.

“Pamela and Rick were married in a quick ceremony in front of her two sons and friends. They were given an item in a gift box from Paris. Inside it was a video camera with a label saying, ‘Congrats Mrs Salomon, but be warned… love Paris.’ People were looking at her so she tried to laugh it off before passing the box to Rick, who told Pammie to ignore it. But he looked irritated.”
