Ashlee Simpson was in London recently promoting her new album, when she made an appearance on a talk show called Nokia Green Room.

Ashlee was asked in the talk show interview what she thought, "You've had one too many Britney Spears" meant, and Ashlee said it meant "one too many trashy girls." In actuality, it's slang for "one too many drinks."

It looks like Ashlee needs to take a long hard look at herself; she is hardly the epitome of class! Britney forever Ashlee never!

Britney Spears Offers Jamie Lynn Spears Baby Advice

Britney Spears was acting as the responsible big sister to Jamie Lynn when they were reunited for the first time in months for Jamie Lynn's baby shower. Jamie Lynn told OK! magazine:

"It was wonderful to be able to spend time with her and just be girls again. We painted our nails and did stupid stuff."

Jamie Lynn loved having time with big-sis Brit:

"To be able to be in the privacy of our own home and just be sisters again was wonderful."

Britney even offered some parenting advice:

"She told me, 'There are going to be some long nights, but it is completely worth it.'"

Britney's a great person to get advice from on parenting - hope she was taking some notes.

Britney Spears Shows off Bikini Body in Malibu

Britney Spears is showing off her bikini body again on the cover of the new issue of Star magazine. Apparently, she has lost 20 pounds!

Jamie Lynn Spears Excluded from Family-Friendly Party

Britney Spears is finally getting her sh*t together and has stopped all of the wild partying. Her party days with Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan seem to be over now as she's trying to improve her situation. Now Brit's into throwing family-friendly type parties, but lil sis Jamie Lynn Spears isn't being invited.

Ouch! Poor Jamie Lynn.

Britney Spears Returns Despite Neil Patrick Harris' Wishes

Britney Spears is reportedly returning to another episode of How I Met Your Mother, according to People. A source said:

“The show is ecstatic and so is Britney. She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.”

Although the source for People claims Brit will do one more episode, Fox studios would not confirm it. Brit received great reviews for her appearance on March 24. John Segal said:

“She was hilarious in the table-read, and I got to see her do the run-through as well, and she was great.”

I hope it's true. Good for Britney! At least she finally found something constructive to do with her time.

Britney Spears to Release Video Diaries?

Britney Spears is reportedly threatening to release her video diaries which record her problems over the past six months, on the internet or MTV, according to the Mirror.

Everyone knows Brit has kind of lost it over the last year, but apparently, her rants about her family, friends, and even intimate details about ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake and her rivalry with Christina Aguilera are part of these video diaries. Sources claimed:

"Britney's video diaries are the talk of the Tinseltown elite. Her high-profile friends and exes - including Justin - knew what she was up to but assumed she was filming herself as a form of therapy. If she does decide to go public with the footage, it'll be explosive. Although some of it is really sad to watch - especially the parts where she's close to breakdown - others are dynamite. Not surprisingly both JT and Kevin Federline are terrified the material will end up all over the net. Or, even worse, Britney will agree to another MTV documentary, and release some of the footage through official channels."

Wow, to think that we had already watched the train wreck of her career, this will be a doozy if she decides to release this. I was actually hopeful that she was getting healthier because she had some recent success when she appeared on "How I Met Your Mother." I guess we'll never be able to guess what the crazy girl will do next. Stay tuned.

Adnan Ghalib Stabbed Saturday Night

Former paparazzo boyfriend of Britney Spears, Adnan Ghalib was reportedly stabbed, according to U.S. reports. JFXonline.com said Adnan was attacked on Saturday night resulting in a stab wound to the arm, lacerations to the face, and a black eye. Ouch!

Reports indicate that he's now recovering after receiving medical attention.

Above is a video from January when Adnan went on Entertainment Tonight to talk about his sexual relationship with the pop singer. However, they split in March.

Adnan was recently spotted hanging out with Kathy Griffin, but it's unclear whether they're dating or they're pulling a prank for Ashton Kutcher's Punk'd or his new show Pop Fiction. I'm sure they're not together because I don't think Kathy is that crazy.

Well, this is surely one way to get Britney jealous now isn't it?

Justin Timberlake to Meet with Britney Spears During Summer

Justin Timberlake has reportedly agreed to meet Britney Spears at a family barbecue this summer. Jamie, Brit's dad is said to have requested JT to meet Brit in hopes that this will help Brit's recovery from her mental illness issues. According to a source to Life & Style magazine,

"Jamie reached out to Justin and asked if he'd be willing to come over to Britney's house to talk to her face-to-face, and Justin said yes. Jamie's hoping that by finally seeing him, she'll be able to get some real closure, some resolution. He thinks that might be a huge help to her."

Perhaps Daddy Spears is right, maybe seeing her first love might help her resolve some issues. Let's hope she's on the road to recovery. Who knows, this might just help JT out too.

Jamie Lynn Spears is reportedly planning to get married to her fiance Casey Aldridge at Britney Spears' Serenity estate in Louisiana. Jamie Lynn confirmed the reports by wearing a t-shirt saying:

'The Rumors Are True'

OK! magazine reported that they'll get hitched at her big sis' estate and Brit is expected to be a bridesmaid. However, a source said she's not planning to rush down the aisle:

"I expect she'll want to wait at least several months to get her figure back so she can wear a beautiful wedding gown and then have her dream wedding."

Jamie Lynn Spears is reportedly showing off an engagement ring from boyfriend/new fiancé Casey Aldridge these days. Apparently, Jamie Lynn has been sporting her new rock to friends and family around Louisiana and Mississippi according to People. A source said:

"She's got an engagement ring. She's been showing it off, talking about it."

Jamie Lynn and Casey are expecting their baby this summer, but there hasn't been any official word on a wedding date yet.

In the state of Louisiana, I believe they have to have the signatures of both of her parents in order to legally get hitched though. Maybe her parents will wisely make them wait a while.

If they're allowed to get hitched, I wonder if they'll be living with mom Lynne or Britney or Casey's parents.

Yael Naim Embraces Britney Spears and Apple for Music Success

Folksy French-Israeli singer Yael Naim found more fame when her catchy tune "New Soul" played in Apple's MacBook Air laptop ads, pushing the song to No. 7 on U.S. music chart Billboard's Hot 100. However, she had already caught much attention when she chose to cover Britney Spears' "Toxic" which you can watch in the video clip above.

Naim said she's not worried about being seen as too commercial after the success of the Apple ad. She told Reuters in New York:

"It opened a great window for us, for a lot of people to have a chance to hear about our music. We had a lot of propositions ... but we thought Apple and Macintosh have some connection because today we work with computers to do our music."

The first time I heard "New Soul" in the commercial, I thought she had a great voice, but I quickly began growing tired of the song after hearing the ad played repeatedly. If you somehow haven't heard "New Soul" you can click here to watch her video clip. Well, she does sound a lot better than Britney though doesn't she? I'd listen to her any day over Britney's voice.

Britney Spears Required to Pay K-Fed Bills

Britney Spears has reportedly been ordered by the court to pay $375,000 for Kevin Federline's legal bills. Ouch!

The L.A. court commissioner believed that Brit's actions were the cause of a number of delays in the case and so she should carry those costs, according to the Associated Press. However, K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan requested $500,000 to cover the costs which Brit's lawyer Stacy Phillips argued he was over-charging.

It sounds like over-charging to me too. These lawyers make a mint don't they?

Britney Spears and Mel Gibson Become Unlikely Pals

Britney Spears reportedly had another visit with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James on Saturday, but ended the evening by having dinner with Mel Gibson at a Russian restaurant. They were spotted as part of a two-hour group dinner at Romanov in Studio City. Someone at the restaurant said:

"It was exciting to have both of them here together. We heard they hit it off and that Britney seemed excited."

Interesting eh? Two people who were once at the top of their game who were brought down by their craziness are socializing now. Seems like a good fit though.

UCLA Medical Center Fires 13 Staff for Snooping About Britney Spears

UCLA Medical Center is reportedly terminating at least 13 staff members and suspending at least six others for looking at the confidential medical records of Britney Spears while she was hospitalized there. The LA Times reported that in addition to these people getting fired, at least six doctors will face disciplinary action for snooping into Brit's computerized records.

Apparently, UCLA officials admitted this wasn't the first time privacy was compromised for Britney Spears, according to the newspaper. It sounds like people are either star struck or looking to make a quick buck for selling some information about Britney to the tabloids. Probably the latter, right?

Britney Spears Removed Kabbalah Tattoo

Britney Spears is over her Kabbalah phase as she removed her Hebrew tattoo on the back of her neck which displayed one of the 72 words for God which is found in the texts of Kabbalah. While she was out shopping in L.A. earlier this week, it was evident that she had the tattoo removed.

However, don't worry that Britney has removed all of her interesting tattoos. She has pink dice on her forearm, a Japanese kanji symbol for "strange" , a fairy on her back, a butterfly and vine chain on her right foot, a star on her hand and a pair of lips on her wrist.

Soon enough Brit will probably fill that empty space on the back of her neck with some new phase in her life. Maybe she'll get a tattoo to honor her famous pap boyfriend Adnan Ghalib next?
