Ben Affleck Hated Jennifer Lopez Video

Ben Affleck reportedly has a lot of regrets when it comes to Jennifer Lopez, one of them being his appearance in one of her videos because he believes it nearly ruined his career. When the Hollywood actor started dating JLo in 2002, he made a cameo in her video "Jenny from the Block" where he was rubbing sun tan lotion onto JLo's big booty.

He said:

"If I have a big regret, it was doing the music video. But that happened years ago. I've moved on."

However, he insists he's not blaming JLo for practically ruining his career, even though his career seemed pretty doomed while he was with her. He claimed:

"It not only makes me look like a petulant fool (to blame Lopez), but it surely qualifies as ungentlemanly? For the record, did she hurt my career? No."

Of course being with her hurt his career! His movies were awful after he hooked up with her. However, maybe it wasn't her fault he chose those dumbass roles, but during the same year he hooked up with JLo he was named People's "Sexiest Man Alive" and then after that, but while with her, he seemed to lose his appeal. Well, it's a good thing he's not with her and probably shouldn't mention it anymore.

Gary Busey Kissed Jennifer Garner On The Red Carpet

Poor Jennifer Garner! While being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, Gary Busey came over and kissed her on the neck. She then told Ryan Seacrest, "Ask me about getting kissed on the neck on the red carpet by this man... That was nice!"

She looked nervous afterwards. I can't blame her, I would have been freaked out as well.

Jennifer Garner was looking great as she arrived to the closing night of "Cyrano de Bergerac" Broadway show last night. If you haven't got a chance to see the Broadway show, then you can watch it on PBS as it was filmed for PBS Great Performances. So far, no date has been chosen for the airing.

Now that Jennifer doesn't have to be in New York City, I wonder if Jen, Ben Affleck and cute Violet will stay in the city or move back to LA.

"Juno" is the story of young woman who is faced with an unplanned pregnancy and makes an unusual and bizarre decision regarding her unborn child.

Although it sounded like Ben Affleck was still blaming Jennifer Lopez recently for damaging his acting career in his interview with Details magazine, he has reportedly sent her a congratulations note for her pregnancy. According to sources:

"Ben sent a personal message to Jennifer and hubby Marc Anthony extending his best wishes."

One source added:

Ben "raved how fatherhood has left him thrilled - and he said he knows what a great mother J.Lo will be. While the two have had little communication since their highly publicized breakup, Jennifer was deeply touched by Ben’s heartfelt message."

I bet when Ben wakes up and sees Jennifer Garner and his cutiepie daughter Violet each day, he thanks God for sparing him the trauma of what might've been had he married JLo.

Jennifer Garner Doesn't Approve of People?

Jennifer Garner was spotting signing autographs after her performance in the play Cyrano de Bergerac in NYC, however, when a fan requested for her to sign a copy of People magazine, she politely declined. She said:

“I’ll sign anything else but.”

It's a little shocking given that People magazine tends to be so tame in terms of celebrity news and gossip. I guess if I meet her, I won't ask her to sign the National Enquirer! Yikes.

I don't really recall any bad gossip or celebrity news about Jennifer Garner recently. Jennifer and her adorable family are loved by most of the celebrity outlets.

Ben Affleck Still Blames Jennifer Lopez?

Ben Affleck still thinks that his relationship with Jennifer Lopez caused damage to his career as an actor. In Details magazine, he blames the media coverage for overshadowing his appearances on the silver screen. Regarding his ex-girlfriend:

"It was probably bad for my career".

He explains:

"What happens is this sort of bleed-over from the tabloids across your movie work. You go to a movie, you only go once. But the tabloids and internet are everywhere. You can really subsume the public image of somebody."

Although he is now directing a film to revamp his career, he says the failure of some of his past films and the relationship put him in a difficult position. He says of his film, "Gone Baby Gone":

"I feel like this film is a linchpin for my life, my career. I have a lot riding on it. I want [the film] to work. Badly. I mean, a ****** movie comes out on 2,800 screens? I've been there and it's embarrassing."

He prefers directing and says:

"That's why there's something really great about directing - about having authorship over something. If you don't like this movie, I'm the guy to see. I'm the guy to criticize. I take some measure of comfort in that. It's fair, at least."

Well best of luck to him. I think he's right about his career going down the tubes after he got involved with Jennifer Lopez. But he can't really blame her. He picked some awful films to be part of.
