Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole Almost Attacked By Crazed Fan
American Idol judge Simon Cowell and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole were nearly attacked by a crazed fan as they left a hotel in Glasgow, Scotland after filming for the TV show The X Factor, according to Contact Music.
Apparently, they stoped to pose for photographers when the unidentified man lunged through the crowd and grabbed her. Cole was rescued by her assistant. A rep for the hit TV show said:
“Cheryl happily posed for a picture with this man - then he came up behind her and bear-hugged her.”
Security has been raised for the Simon Cowell and the other stars for the show, including Louis Walsh and Danii Minogue.
I bet that was scary because who knows what that guy was going to do after he had his arms around her. It’s sad when fans have to go nuts like that.
