David Lee Roth Imposter Revealed
Yesterday, Ontario Provincial Police identified a man they believe posed as Van Halen singer David Lee Roth, according to thestar.com. Police identified the impersonator as David Kuntz of Cambridge after being pulled over for speeding near Brantford on May 23.
Apparently, Kuntz convinced police (because he looks SO much like the Van Halen rocker) that he was David Lee Roth and that he was suffering from an allergic reaction to nuts and was taken to a local hospital. Kuntz even caused a stir at a pub where people were convinced he was Roth when he performed with the house band.
However, a handful of people recognized the Roth lookalike in newspaper photos and called the police. Friends and former classmates say he was often mistaken for the Van Halen singer too.
Maybe he looks different in person and actually resembles him, but from his picture above, I’m not too impressed with everyone getting fooled.
