Pete Doherty’s Cats Got Him off Drugs

Pete Doherty, who infamously was photographed making one of his cats smoke crack, now claims that his kitties are what helped him get off drugs and stay clean.
He recalled: “I got a shovel and was going to kill one of the cats. That was when I was, like, you know, ‘I’m a bit of a mess’. It was a bit of a crazy time.”
Good thing Petey got a wakeup call before he wound up beating one of his pets to death! I doubt he’ll be off drugs for long, though. Who lets this person have cats, anyway!?
