Mischa Barton Disses Cannes

Mischa Barton’s new movie, You and I, was supposed to premiere this year at the Cannes Film Festival. She still gets to be in non-Lifetime movies?
According to reports, though, Mischa decided to skip out on the premiere of her movie as well as all of her promo work and party instead.
When asked why she wasn’t at the premiere, [Mischa] supposedly hissed, “I was never due to go.”
[Mischa] is said to have thought the film was ‘awful and didn’t want to be involved in the project.’
I just don’t understand why she would go at all if she wasn’t going to promote her film! Seems disrespectful just to go for the free booze, dontcha think?
