Tori Spelling Says She’s a Gay Icon
photo courtesy of PR Photos/www.prphotos.comTori Spelling said she’s a “huge fan” of homosexuals and was thrilled to take on her role in a gay-themed movie Kiss the Bride because she wanted to reward her gay fans. Tori said:
“(The gay theme) was probably one of the top things that made me want to do the movie. I’m a huge fan of gays. They love me; I love them. They consider me kind of a gay icon, which they’ve labeled me as.”
And to prove that some gay people really love her, she said she was Tori was ordained a minister in order to marry two male fans at her bed and breakfast. She explained:
“They said ‘We have this idea. We want you to perform the ceremony… we’re huge fans, it would be so cool if Tori Spelling married us.’ I haven’t done any since… but I’m open. I’m free, my schedule is wide open.”
I wonder what the attraction is to her then. Is it because she looks like a drag queen? Or perhaps she has been doing some work to advocate for gay rights? Although I’m not a Tori fan, I respect her for loving gay people as everyone should anyway.
