Carrie Underwood Opens Up About Being Cheated On

In the new May issue of In Style magazine, Carrie Underwood, who has been linked to football star Tony Romo and Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford, admits she has had an unfaithful boyfriend. Although she was heartbroken over it, she won’t reveal which boyfriend it was. She told InStyle:
“I’ve been cheated on a time or two. It’s tough. I wouldn’t recommend doing any property damage, though.”
She laughed with reference to her song about a woman who trashes her boyfriend’s truck, “Before He Cheats” which won her a Grammy.
Underwood explained:
“Now I’m to the point where you get one shot. Life’s too short. I’m a ‘let it go, move on’ kind of person. And ice cream is my friend. If anybody sees me eating a sundae and I look unhappy, something bad has happened. I am drowning my sorrows in fudge and caramel and whipped cream.”
However, the American Idol winner admitted that she struggles with body image:
“I think about what I look like probably more than I should. But I think everybody is her own worst critic. Some days I step out of the shower, put my lotion on, and I’ll be like ‘Ugh, ew, ew.’ I’m OCD like that. I count calories, fat and fiber – which is important in making you feel fuller faster – and protein, especially when I’m working out. If I put on five pounds, it’s noticed immediately.”
Overall, she’s happy with herself though and added:
“I’m content with 90 percent of me. I like my teeth. Sometimes I wonder if my orthodontist realizes how important he was.”

It’s too bad she struggles with body image because she looks great. She should be feeling pretty good about herself since she’s the most successful American Idol winner to date.
If she wrote the song about either Chase Crawford or Tony Romo, I’d guess it was Tony Romo since she probably wrote the song a while ago and her breakup with Chase didn’t even seem to phase her as they split over text message.

Isn’t it funny how black artists can’t get a break about how their music inspires crime but everyone thinks it’s so cute for carrie underwood to make a song about vandalism. Good grief.
Haven’t I read that since her AI days, she’s evolved into a particularly heinous diva? This might explain the cheating…
