Jesse McCartney Signed Up for Jewish Dating Site Only as a "Joke"

Jesse McCartney has insisted that he set up an online profile on a dating site as a "joke". He told In Touch Weekly that he signed up to JDate.com, a Jewish dating site even though he's not Jewish. Jesse recently split with David Cassidy's daughter Katie and then for his own amusement, he decided to sign up for the dating website. He said:

"I just wanted to set the record straight and let everyone know that the profile I created on JDate was a joke! I was hanging' with some friends and we thought that it would be really funny to see peoples' reactions. The hilarity of it all is that until I announced having a profile on the site, nobody believed it was me. Single-life has been great! Good luck to everyone on JDate."

He and his friends sound really mature, don't they?
