Shocker: Amy Winehouse Was Asked for a Divorce
photo courtesy of PR Photos/www.prphotos.comBlake Fielder-Civil has reportedly asked Amy Winehouse for a divorce. Amy’s father Mitch claims that Blake said he was ready to call it quits after a recent fight with Amy. Amy’s dad said:
“Blake threatened to issue divorce proceedings when they were having a row.”
Amy’s dad believes that Blake wants to split because his mother is pushing him to dump Amy. He added:
“Unfortunately, Blake is influenced by things his mother has said. I think Georgette wants them to divorce, but it’s up to them. From Amy’s point of view, she would stick by him not matter what. But he has said things like: ‘I want a divorce’.”
Friends of Amy think they’re going to split as well. A source said:
“The Blake and Amy situation is imploding. Blake has been listening to his mother, and he’s been hot and cold with Amy when they do meet.”
Well, could the reason they’re fighting be the stories of Amy hanging out with her ex or partying with her producer while Blake is stuck in jail? No one can blame him for being a little pissed. Stay tuned though.
