Ruben Studdard Dumped By Label
photo courtesy of PR Photos/www.prphotos.comPast American Idol winner Ruben Studdard has reportedly been dumped by his label. Ouch! J Records dropped him after he failed to match the success of his first album “Soulful” in 2003. Last year, his album barely sold 235,000 copies.
Apparently, he’s not too upset though because he has a gig playing Fats Waller in a theatre tour of Ain’t Misbehavin.
Getting dumped by his label must’ve stung a bit though. Poor guy!
