Guess How Paris’ Parents Reacted to the Sentencing?
FlynetI guess it’s not a surprise that Paris Hilton’s parents were upset by the sentence their daughter received on Friday, but it’s puzzling to me why they were as shocked as they were. The courtroom sketch artist, Mona Shafer Edwards told People magazine about Paris’ mother Kathy’s outburst in the courtroom. She said that after the sentence was given, the courtroom emptied and Paris started crying which was followed by Kathy going towards the attorney’s table and shouting:
“I can’t believe this, I can’t believe this.”
Kathy went over to comfort Paris, putting her arm around her as others started to crowd around her. When Paris eventually got up her father Rick Hilton hugged her and said:
“I can’t believe this, either.”
A confused Paris said:
“I don’t know what happened. I did what they said.” In anger, Kathy Hilton, walked up to one of the prosecutors and screamed,
“You’re pathetic. Can I have your autograph?” Approximately six sheriffs’ deputies began to approach Kathy Hilton, who screamed at them:
“Don’t you touch me, don’t you touch me.”
And as the family was about to leave the courtroom, Kathy announced:
“[The judge] made up his mind before he even came in today. If it were anyone else, this would’ve never had happened. And after all the money we spent!”
Well, no wonder Paris became the spoiled brat she is today! If it had been anyone else, they would have received a much harsher sentence earlier. Isn’t it interesting that even the Hiltons think they’re victims of discrimination?
