Posh Wants to Adopt
Looks like Posh aka Victoria Beckham may want to jump on the celebrity adoption wagon because she wants a little girl. Although Posh has three children, they’re all boys. Reports allege that she believes adopting a disadvantaged child would be the ideal solution. A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper:
“Victoria is desperate to have a daughter to be girlie with. She loves the idea of having a girl to dress up, play with and make the family less male-oriented. She’s been spending time with Katie Holmes and seeing her little girl has made Victoria really broody.”
While I feel it’s wonderful for orphans to be matched with families and be placed in homes rather than grow up in institutions, it’s a little annoying when I hear or read about how prospective parents can’t wait to “dress-up” their children. That’s what dolls are for and dolls demand a lot less responsibility.
